Safety first. The same is true for the production of sustainable electricity as for any other product: safety is the no. 1 priority. Throughout their service life, wind turbines have to undergo at least 20 official inspections. Additional inspections have to be carried out as well if the wind turbine is to continue to be operated after the EEG [Renewable Energy Sources Act] period comes to an end. Which is why it is good to work with a partner you can rely on – a partner that unites technical expertise with flexibility.
When XERVON Wind performs mandatory safety reviews, it checks all of the wind turbine’s relevant components, including the safety equipment. Having us work through the check list and examine the many different parts creates two major advantages for wind farm operators: it reduces safety hazards and gives them peace of mind that they are fulfilling their statutory obligations.
From movable access systems, to fall arrest harnesses and rescue equipment, all the way through to emergency plans: the list of items included in the mandatory safety reviews includes all safety-related points
XERVON Wind also has its own high quality standards when carrying out safety reviews and, if requested, can also combine this work with other technical analyses or additional checks. Should faults or defects be detected, then our team of experts can remedy them at once, for example by repairing or replacing the relevant technical component.
